The theme that i choose for Huck finn is "Relationship to Parents". I had shut the door to. Then I turned around, and there he was i used to be scared of him all the time, he tanned me so much.(Ch. 5,p.14,par1).This statement is saying that huck finns dad hit him so much that everytime her would look at him thats why he would be so scared because his dad hit him so much."Well, I'll learn how to meddle. And looky here- you drop that school, you hear?(Ch.5,p.15,par7). This statement is saying that huck's daddy wants him to not finish school, dont worry about school, he doesnt need school.You lemme catch you fooling around that school again,you hear? Your mother couldnt read, and she couldn't write, nuther, before she died. None of the family couldn't before they died. I cant ; and here you're a-swelling yourself up like this. I aint the man to stand it-you hear? Say-lemme hear you read."(Ch.5,p.15,par7). This statement is saying that i dont know why you are trying to read because you're mother and you're family could not eaither so what are you trying to read for show me how you think you better.
