Huck Finn Reader Response#3 (Ch.14-Ch.18)
Paragraph 1
Huck was impressed by the style of the house it was so neat and nice.” It was mighty nice family, and a mighty nice house, too” (Ch.17, Page75, Paragraph 5)“I hadn’t seen no house out in the country before that was so nice and had so much style” (Ch.17, Page75, Paragraph 5).This says about Huck’s success that he wants to be able to be like the Gragerford’s house. This also shows that Huck is very happy to have seen something like this that he has never ever seen in his life.
Paragraph 2
The books in the house are special because they were classics. “The statements were interesting, but tough.” (Ch.17, Page76, and Pargragh2).He was probably interested in them because of the stories they told they were probably something that he wanted to hear weather then something boring. This says that Huck’s view of education is that he believes that everybody is intelligent in their own special way.
Paragragh3
The thing that is unique about all the drawings and poems and the scrapbook is that they all had to do with her or someone else that was either dieing or very well sick.
